Herrnhut Metals started operations in 2019 and is operational in DRC, Nigeria, Burundi and Brazil, have grown the business YOY since inception. We have a staff compliment of 120 people across Africa, Switzerland and Brazil.
We are an stablished integrated Tin, Tantalum and Columbite concentrates trader with the view that through our development of assets in the regions we operate in will give us the base to be a long term supplier of critical metals to the market.
Through our strategic investments in both Andrada Mining Ltd and Tantalex Lithium Resources Corp respectively, these investments will give rise to constant tradeable volumes of Tin and Tantalum concentrates at preferential terms and allow AfriMet to build the trading and flows of Lithium concentrates (SC6) in the near future. Our strategy is to place AfriMet in the forefront of supply of these critical metals, namely Tin, Tantalum and Lithium and to build and develop in the regions we operate in with the community and further development of the people, resources and economy at the forefront of our plans.
